We measure our Christmas trees from the base to the top of the upper whorl, not to the tip of the leader, assuring that you get the size you order.

We stand the harvested Christmas trees in a bed of sawdust, in a wind protected area. This prevents premature drying while maximizing needle retention.
All our Christmas trees undergo a rigorous grading system that we consider to be the most accurate and consistent in the industry.
Balsam fir Christmas trees
Balsam fir, our primary crop, is the traditional Christmas tree that stands out from all others. Its dark-green color, long-lasting needles, attractive cone shape and pleasant fragrance make it the most popular species of Christmas tree in the Northeast market.
Our northern climate, with abundant precipitation, in conjunction with our advanced production techniques and rigorous quality control, will guarantee you robust, healthy Christmas trees.

Douglas fir Christmas trees
The Douglas Fir has dark-green needles that give off a sweet, orange-like fragrance when touched. It does not grow in our northern climate but we carry this species for our customers' convenience.
We choose quality Douglas fir Christmas trees from select growers in Pennsylvania and Michigan. We flag the trees ourselves, according to our own grading and classification standards.

Fraser fir Christmas trees
Fraser fir, added to our crop rotation, is a dark blue-green color and has excellent needle retention, making it a favored choice for the high-end Christmas tree market. Fraser firs require high fertilization and need an extra two years of growth, making them one of the most costly trees on the market.
We grow our Fraser fir Christmas trees in the fertile, rocky-to-sandy soils found in the higher elevations of our plantations, conditions essential to their survival.
